Today,Aircraft repaints new Zealand has made there website 100%FSX! There is no FS9 Aircraft to be found on the website. The interface is much more modern and eye catching. There is no one FSX part with all the repaints, scenery and other FSX files in one big jumble, now they have there own area.My favourite part of the new site? The re vamped Repaint section. There is 2 new re-paints,I won't tell you what they are,and a re done aircraft. So fly over www.flightsim.co.nz and see for yourself.

Delta's New Look

With Delta Exiting Bankruptcy Protection, there is a new livery. There are many pic of this new livery at airliners.net,and here is the link to one of them. Of course, this livery has hit the FS world on the posky 757,767 and the SGA MD-80. Today,I Downloaded the Posky 757 in this new livery and it looks great! This particular repaint is by Demetris Themistocleous. There is many pics of this plane in fs in this folder,so i will post only one. Delta has put out a commercial. If you are lucky, you will see it. If you don't feel like watching TV,I found it on you tube.It is here.If you want to get one of these beauties, just type Delta 2007 into Avsim, simvation or Flightsim.com search engines and you will be rewarded.

Sky Blue Radio

If you read the AVSIM news this morning, you would have learned that the old IFC Radio has been replaced with Sky Blue Radio! If you have flown on a airliner recently, you would see there is a radio in the seat. This is essentially the same concept,In Flight Entertainment. It is pretty much the same as IFC Radio, except that is a live DJ until 8 Zulu time! This station is dedicated to FS Fans everywhere. You can request Songs, and you can listen to it while flying! You can listen to it through I tunes,or you can use there application Wee Tune Beestie available as a download at the site.Unfortunately, you have to have a account, which gains you access to the forums, and various other things. If you don't want a account, you can just listen to the stream via Itunes, winamp and Real Audio. But I Recommend getting an account to get at Wee Tune Beestie because it pauses the stream when ATC Calls! So,your probably asking, how does this work? Well it's simple! All you must to do is install this programme, and set your COM2 Radio in your plane to 123.45.This es excellent and an alternate to what i do now,Listen to I tunes with the sound off.You can pay them a visit at http://www.skyblueradio.com/ or in the aviation links bar on the side of the front page under Sky Blue Radio. We hope for blue skies for Sky Blue Radio in the future.

The Video Is Ready

The Video of the flight is ready. Youtube processed it pretty fast! Anyways here it is!Enjoy!

Flight Plan KBFI-KORS

Today's flight was a 34 min unit flight from Boeing Field to East sound Washington in the default Cessna Caravan in Kenmore Air Express texture. We boarded the passengers and fired the engine up.We taxied out to runway 31L. We then took of with full power, which was supplied by a virtual PT6A-114 engine.Once we took off, we got some spectacular views of downtown Seattle.

We cruised at 4000 feet. About 40nm from East sound,we hit some turbulence and clouds. When we were about 18nm out,we contacted traffic and noted the ATIS. The weather was pretty good, winds 111@1, temperature 15 C, and broken clouds. When we landed,we went to our parking spot and shut down. Our overall trip time, about 40 min. I took a video of the flight, and it should be ready soon. So,to keep you entertained, here's a video of the actual flight on this segment here. The only difference between this flight and the video link is that there is no stop in Oak Harbour.I may do a flight like that one later.

Mutliplayer Flight Report

For those who have actually read my blog, you will have a noticed I like to have flight reports. Well this is a special report, with it being on multiplayer. The session was called Nor-Cal prop club and was hosted by WRECKERMAN314(If is got it wrong, sorry!).But this session was no where near California, instead in the Cold of Alaska. Most people used the DHC-2 turbo beaver by Premier Aircraft design(available here). The flight started somewhere in Alaska, and went to Pertersburg,Alaska, and points onward. When the Group approached Petersburg, the host told everyone that fuel was needed and that the Suppliers couldn't take American Express, only cash. I have pictures of this session and they are on this post. Now a bit about the Nor-Cal prop club. They do formation flights and visit airports,it is jet less and most times Extra 300 less. This is the server if you love prop planes, formation flying and visiting airports.

Simulated Kenmore Air Flight Seattle-Friday Harbour

Yesterday I did a Kenmore floatplane flight from Seattle to Friday Harbour in the Aerosoft Beaver. The Flight time was about 35 minutes. We left Lake union at about 7:30 Game time, and headed north. We cruised to 4000 feet for most of the flight, but descended to about 3000 feet. We hit turbulence have way thought the flight. We descended into Friday Harbour and landed at about 8:05 game time.I took pics of the plane at the dock, and it's hard to tell if there real or not!(of course there fake,I took them in the Sim) These flights are good for the not to experienced bush pilot, and if you want a challenge, try the San Juan Island Run mission. But this mission takes 50 minutes. Here are a few pics of the plane in FSX.

Flight Simulator flight plan KORS-WA93

Today's flight plan is from Eastsound,WA,to Eliza island,WA. This is probably one of my favorite flight plans because of Birds scenery 5and 6(Eastsound and Eliza island).Anyways the flight should only take about 5-10 Minutes, but it depends what aircraft you bring.Aircraft recommended are ,the Goose,Cessna 172 and caravan,Maule MC7,the ultralight and the J3 cub. For the owners of payware aircraft recommended are The Beaver by Aerosoft and the Katana by Digital Aviation. Good Freeware aircraft recommended are the turbo-beaver and the Twin otter from Premiere Aircraft design. If you can find anymore aircraft that can land at these airport, please leave a comment. The ICAO codes for these two parts are KORS for Eastsound and for Eliza Island,WA93. Also there are various other islands you can add to your flight plan. Look for other flight plans appearing on this blog.

Birds Scenery number 7 -The gold Valley

This is our first post with writing! Anyways I'm reviewing Birds volume 7 The gold valley. It was released over at avsim http://www.avsim.com.This time the birds escaped the United States to the Bella Coola Valley. Birds volumes are made by a David Roch how has released birds volumes 1-6 and he turns the area from boring to fun!He fills the valley with eye Candy's such as static airplanes at airports, docks, hangers, and bears! He really livens up the area, making it fun to fly. This goes great with the Bella Coola Valley Geographical enhancements by Holger Sandmann available at simvation.Although the scenery can impact your system,It's worth it! I would rank this 5 out of 5 as he makes flying fun again! A volume 8 is planed for the very near future,on a different continent.

Check this out

Take a look at the random video generator i got from flightlevel350,or just go to there site!(http://www.flightlevel350.com/)
